Keep seeking God, expect Him to lead you New Ways!
Walking with God is often a step-by-step process. The Bible is a great resource that shows us how to walk with God. In the very first book of the Bible, Genesis, we see men walking with God, not only Enoch (Gen 5:24), but Noah (Gen 6:and Abraham (Gen 17:1). Indeed, Abraham’s long journey of several decades is seen in the Book of Hebrews as a walk of faith. The calm, steady walk of our Lord is set before each of us in the Gospels, especially the Gospel of John. Here we see a ‘discipline’; which comes from being governed by the Holy Spirit. Genesis 15 begins, “After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision:” but even the reference to Adam and Eve walking with God in the Garden of Eden is subject to an interpretation which includes the mystical encounter between flesh and blood and God: between God and His spoken word, between God and His wisdom, teachings, Self-revelation, and of His relation to us as His creatures.
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, you don’t get very far in life unless you develop a relationship with God and walk with Him. Another aspect of “walking with God” is to accept what he delivers on our prayers when we pray. When you first develop a relationship with God, it can take a while to get to know Him, to know How He works, how He talks to you, how He guides you and what He expects of you as His child. As you begin to mature in your walk with God, and you begin to see how good He is, how kind He is, how merciful He is and you realize and see that He really does have your best interest at heart, it becomes easier to trust God enough to accept whatever He gives to you as an answer to your prayers, even though in your own limited judgment, what He delivers may not look to be what is right for you right now. But God knows better. He knows exactly what you need when you need it and how you need it. Broken, tired places that do not work right, or that are too tight or that stress you out are often crucibles that God allows you to be held in to lead you to the point of surrender.. If this surrender comes, God is able to freely Flow and work in your life and we believe then your walk with God can grow more closer, and God can work to bring about His plans and purposes for your life in an unhindered environment.
The Christian life is one of ups and downs. Victory and failures,Disappointments, lack, hurts, pains, anxiety, depression, setbacks, brokenness, etc….but God designed the Christian life as a life long journey in which you would be given plenty of time to get to Walk with Him and get to know Him as well as yourself. So instead of being tired, anxious, mad or disappointed about your walk with God during these 3 days, why not ask God to help you walk with Him in a way that will allow Him to “Flow” in your life the way He wants to so that you can begin to experience joy, victory, restorations and God’s favor in your life!
