Have you ever?

Have you ever come to the point in your life where YOU asked God WHY are YOU here, and what are YOU meant to do? We know that we have…and when you think about it, each of us may look this question in the eye, wonder for a bit, and then move on to the next thing without ever listening for God to speak to answer the question and tell us why we are here and what we are meant for. For to ask, that indicates that you want to know the answer to the question. Furthermore, it would also make sense since you want to know the answer to the question of what is your life purpose to also ask God, how does one go about succeeding at accomplishing their life purpose?

We have found that when you are not living your life according to the purpose for which God created you, you can begin to feel like you are missing something. You can begin to feel like you are not quite hitting the nail on the head. Sometimes also if you are not living your life fulfilling the purpose for which God created you, you can become disillusioned with the life you lead and fed up with the tiredness and apathy that comes with not living your life according to the purpose for which God created you. But there is more to it, of course there is; the meaning behind who you are and what you are destined for is endless and God wants to share with you what your life purpose is. Are you living your life on purpose, do you really feel like you have found your purpose? Are you open to God speaking to you and gently guiding you in the ways that He has marked out for you so you can live your life on purpose?

It can find you. If you do not know or understand what you are meant for, have you ever stopped and fully engaged the question? Have you given God enough time to speak into your life to show you your life purposes? Have you given yourself the time and space to see and understand your life’s purpose? You may have clues, things you have felt strongly about, questioned or dreamed of. What were they, what spoke to you? If you open up and see, what would it feel like to engage those possibilities? First see those, the moments that spoke to your heart and what you were drawn to. What would it feel like to exist somehow with that knowledge as your reality? Could that be what you are meant to do? Could God be speaking to you through your circumstances and you’ve missed His whispers, His clues and His guidance?

Our hearts are connected to our desires, often overridden by our minds. Our thoughts may think otherwise, but our purpose lies not there but in our hearts.

Your feelings and your desires are gifts from God to nudge you towards the fulfillment of your purposes. How do you feel? What excites you? What motivates you? What do you desire? Those are all clues that God give you that are nudging you towards following God towards the pathways that He has marked out for you that will lead you towards the fulfillment of your purposes. Next time you have these sensations, stop and feel them, really be present with them. Allow God to speak to you however He chooses. Then imagine this is you, your purpose calling you; it could be the answer you were looking for.  Who you are, your true self, and what you are meant for, your true calling, are connected.  Let yourself know that it is not only possible but it is meant to be.  You can find your true purpose, your destiny, and it will fulfill you and bring you peace and happiness. Being tired and fed up with a boring and dull life doesn’t have to be your lot in life if you invite God into your circumstances and allow Him to turn your life around so that you can begin to live your life on purpose! God is ready to help you live YOUR life on purpose if YOU are!
