When you live by faith you believe in the supernatural power of Jesus to forgive, strengthen and heal you amongst other things. The word ‘faith’ in the New Testament can be translated as ‘confidence, belief’ and ‘trust’ and at least part of these processes are operated by your mind in conjunction with the power of God.

If you are sick or if you know someone that is sick and in need of Jesus’s Christ’s healing touch, you can use the process below to purposefully apply your faith in Jesus Christ for psychological, physical and emotional healing. It has been used by many people around the world and it has a powerful effect on those it’s used on, it has been field tested and approved by Christian groups in the USA.

Let’s look first at  scripture and how 1 man got his healing;

‘A man with leprosy came to Jesus and begged Him on his knees and asked “If you are willing, you can make me clean.” Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” Immediately the leprosy left him and he was clean.’ Mark 1:40

‘And everywhere He went…They begged him to let them touch even the edge of His cloak and all who touched Him were healed.’ Mark 6: 56

This excerpt is from the life of Jesus about a man who was once a leper. The leper was sick and tired of being sick and tired, so He dared to approach the King of Kings, Jesus. This leper was not on Jesus’s agenda, the leper invited Himself on Jesus’s agenda while He was traveling through Galiee. This leper was so fed up with his condition that He was willing to exercise the faith He  had in Jesus because He had heard about His wonder working power to heal, so he walked forward to Jesus and simply asked Him, “If You are willing, you can make me clean”.  Jesus’s response to the leper resulted in the leper’s faith and courage to walk forward  being rewarded, He was healed.

So what about you? Do you need healing? Or does someone you know and love need healing? How bad do you want to be healed? Do you want it bad enough to exercise your faith in Jesus Christ to obtain healing? If you do, try the technique below, have faith and expect to be healed in God’s way and in God’s timing!

The Touch of Jesus Technique

The below technique has been proven to be immeasurably beneficial and it is our hope and prayer that by following the same instructions you too or someone you love will personally benefit.

Imagine you are that man, the leper. Imagine, kneeling before Jesus wanting with every fibre of your aching being to be clean, to be released from your dis-ease and pain.

To imagine how it would feel being that leper standing before Jesus, imagine having to hold your breath for ages – and then releasing it. Or think about Having to carry REALLY heavy shopping until you thought your limbs were going to come off – and then you dropped it all at the end of your journey.

Imagine now then, the feeling of relief of the leper as Jesus touches you, and the touch of Jesus healing power flowing in and through you so that pain dissolves.

See the hand of Jesus above you….experience the change…

Now, bringing to mind old pains and hurts, imagine them touched by the very healing hand of Jesus Himself, the all powerful God-incarnate for whom nothing is impossible. Believe that nothing on earth or in your mind can stand before Him and the healing He is imparting to you.

Feel your release from. . . . . . . . .(Whatever sickness or disease that is holding you hostage to it)

Imagine His hand going with you (as big or as small as you need) as you move along your timeline into the past or into the future. Watch as His hand touches the scenes and frames that have caused you pain – see and hear and feel them being transformed and made again according to His Will.

Take time to allow this to happen….

Be sure to give Glory to God for giving us Jesus Christ as our healer and giving us instructions on how to pursue being healed. Also give God thanks for the examples that He’s given us in the Bible that inspires us to witness and experience such healing as a result of His Words.

-Give it a try and keep trying until you get results. You will be amazed at how effective it is when you have faith in Jesus Christ!
