5 Ways to Let Go of Worry!

We  read some place  recently that when you pray for courage, what God gives you are  situations where you get the opportunity to be courageous.  Likewise if you pray for strength, you’ll be thrust into situations that require strength.

It’s better to skip all that and go for the good stuff , so instead of praying like that, pray peace, love and harmony.   Not pray for it, but pray it.  Pray it daily and nightly. That means be it, feel it, do it, embody it.  You don’t need circumstances to give you that experience – you choose it, and then you feel the heck out of it until it becomes your reality.  Life is full of problems, setbacks, disappointments, letdowns and unforeseen circumstances, but instead of letting worry steal your joy and time, the best thing that you can do is find ways to deal with and defeat worry with God’s help. We all have things, people or circumstances in our lives that oftentimes might feel like they are going to try to push us to the brink of insanity, but you don’t have to lay down and let these things, people or circumstances have control of your life and your joy and peace. Fight back and Fight back to win. Want to know how? Here are 5 ways you can begin to win the war that Worrying keeps trying to force in your life;

So what are some of the ways you can ditch worry, you might wonder?

1. Pray and surrender everything to God.

2. Do what you can do with the situation, people,  or circumstances and trust that God can and will do what you can’t.

3. Understand that although you don’t have control over people or circumstances, you do have control over whether your day is good, or bad, joyful or disgusting. God has given you the gift of being able to choose if you will be happy, sad or miserable each day.

4. Pray that peace, love and harmony fills your days and your nights. Pray this prayer daily.

5. Give God time to work. Your problems often didn’t develop overnight and they won’t be solved overnight.

It turns out we can’t control how things happen,  big or small but we can choose how we choose to deal with them or how we allow them to affect us. So why give things, people or circumstances space in your head to make your life miserable and make you worry?  Fight Back!  Use God’s word. Pray!  Why keep worrying about what you can’t control? Why allow it to dominate how you feel or think? Dare to walk forward with God and exercise your God given gift of choice to let go of worry and be happy in spite of any adverse people or circumstances that God may have allowed in your path.
