Dream of God!
I saw God in a dream.
God asked: “Would you like to interview me?”
I said: “I want to interview you, but I wonder if you have time.”
God smiled and said: “My time is eternity. What questions do you have?”
“Do you know what the oddest thing of human is?”
God replied:
“They are tired of childhood, anxious to grow up, but then long to be children again.”
“They sacrifice their health for money, and then lose their money to restore their health.”
“They are worried about the future, and forget the present, so they don’t live in the present, not in the future.”
“They live as if they never die, and they die as if they never live.”
God’s hand took mine and we were silent for a while.
I asked, “As a parent, what experience do you want to tell your children?”
God smiled and answered:
“They should know it is impossible to please everyone. All they can do is to be loved by others.”
“They should know that what is the most valuable thing in one’s life does not own something, but somebody.”
“They should know it is not good to compare themselves to others.”
“They should know rich people don’t have the most, but need the least.”
“They should know It takes only a few seconds to cause deep wounds to loved ones, but many years to heal wounds, or even longer.”
“They should learn to forgive others.”
“They should know some people are deeply in love with them, but they don’t know how to express or show their feelings.”
“They should know that money can buy anything, but cannot buy happiness.”
“They should know that two people look at the same thing but see something different.”
“They should know to be forgiven is not enough, they should also forgive themselves.”
“They should know I exist eternally.”
