Which Shift Have You Chosen?
The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9
I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! Revelations 3:15,16
What does it mean to be fully committed to the Lord? There are no part-time shifts in the Kingdom. It is all or nothing. It’s not a weekend gig. Either He is Lord to you, or He is not, either you follow Him full time or part time.
Ironically, Exodus 24:7 reminds us to be 24/7 followers: “All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”
We are 24/7 followers or followers not at all, which are you?

Father,
I commit myself to relationship with You, to live for You, to live with You, to live a life of devotion to You and love towards all people in my life, friend or foe. I commit myself to read Your Word with ears to hear how you want to change me. Reveal my blind spots, unleash my potential, grant me my destiny, and forgive all my errors and pride. Make me a 24/7 believer.
