We’ve all experienced it—that soul-crushing fatigue that occurs when you keep praying and it just seems like it is not working.

 As Christians, we are often reminded not to grow weary in well-doing, but let’s face it: that’s easier said than done. Fervently praying causes weariness after a while when it looks like prayers are not working.

And it isn’t just physical; it’s an emotional and spiritual drain that leaves you questioning your faith, your purpose, and even God’s presence in your life. You might ask, “Why am I facing so many struggles if I’m trying to do everything right?” That feeling of discouragement, of being fed up, broke, and potentially even sick, isn’t uncommon.

But unanswered prayers aren’t always unanswered, because God hears and answers prayers. Sometimes unanswered prayers require long periods of waiting. 

God’s intervention often begins in stages. The heavens don’t always part instantly, pouring down blessings; sometimes, it’s a gentle nudging, an idea, a person sent your way. But sometimes no matter what you do, you just have to wait after you pray. But the good news is, You are not alone in your struggles, no matter how isolating they may feel.
