God wants To Comfort You Through Storms!

No matter what happens in life, trust in God’s comforting presence. Be strong and self-assured that if you’ve invited God in your life, He has come. He is now with you and He is working. If you doubt that, then take some time right now to look back at your life, You may remember that as children we may have huddled under covers during a thunderstorm or tried to find a safe place to stay while the storms raged. The storms may have huffed and puffed, and knocked and banged but they did not blow us down or destroy us or what we were believing God to protect and keep for us. We found enough shelter in the soft blankets or in our safe places to find comfort in hugging our pillows or safe places to ride out the storm. God is a safe place to ride out storms and He’s much better than a blanket. He offers to comfort you, protect you and guide you during the ravaging storms of life, that’s more than a safe place or a blanket could ever do for you.

When dramatic moments touch our lives, whether through a thunderclap or a life-changing event, it is natural for us to desire comfort. Instinctively we may feel the need to reach for help, looking for something that we can cling to in the midst of uncertainty. That comfort does come when we realize we don’t have to go through this or anything else alone. If we Turn to God’s spirit within us, we will find new strength. With trust in God’s comforting presence, we can willingly accept safe passage through any storm of life. God offers to comfort, guide and protect you now and always through the storms of life, ask for His help today, He is only a prayer away. If you have trouble praying or don’t know what to pray or how to pray, join me in this simple prayer;

Dear God,
Thank you for your offer to comfort, guide, protect and help me now and always through the storms of life. I do want your help and guidance in and through the storms of my life. I invite you to come in my life. I invite Jesus Christ to come in my life. I confess that I am a sinner and I am uncertain of what to do in the storms of life, I am uncertain of my role in your plans and purposes for my life. Please forgive me for my sins, my past deeds and any appropriates that I may have displayed or done in my life. You’ve obviously brought me to this place and to this page in life to seek help and direction. I cannot do this alone. I need help and direction. Since you are willing to give me help and direction, please come in my life and help and guide me I pray. – Amen
